Televisa, Pepsi launch music show on Telehit
Music show Pepsi Music, the result of Pepsi's latest sponsorship agreement with Televisa, has premiered on the Latin American music network Telehit.
Telehit, which broadcasts 18 in-house productions as well as English and Spanish music videos, will air the show on prime time every Thursday, with repeats on Saturdays, through both its SD and the HD pay-TV feed.
Filmed in Mexico City, Pepsi Music will follow urban artists, aiming to get viewers closer to their music.
"Pepsi has always been in the music world, and with this new project we are sure we are beginning a great alliance between Telehit and Pepsi," said Guillermo del Bosque, general manager, Telehit. "Pepsi Music is a new concept which will deliver a different music experience to the fans."
The programme also intends to draw the viewers into the social conversation through #PepsiMusicFan. Indeed, Telehit has a social community of over 25 million fans through the social networks, delivering music, but also interactive programming, entertainment and information.
