Televisa’s Dancing for a Dream Turns 10

MEXICO CITY: Televisa’s entertainment format Dancing for a Dream, which has been adapted in more than 20 countries, is currently celebrating the tenth anniversary since its Mexican debut.

The competition series sees 12 celebrities paired with 12 newcomers to learn and perform various choreography sets. It first premiered on Mexico’s Canal de las Estrellas, a Televisa Networks channel. The format was most recently acquired in Bolivia, where Red Uno TV has already renewed it for a second season. The show is broadcast in prime time, with 96 episodes planned.

Argentina’s Telefe is also airing a tenth season of the show.
