'En La Vida De Joan Sebastian' Televisa Photos: First Look At José Manuel Figueroa As 'E
Televisa is getting into the bio-series business with the anthology "En La Vida De..." The first subject will be the life of Joan Sebastian, who passed away earlier this year. Production of this new series started yesterday in Taxco, Guerrero and will be helm by Carla Estrada. As you know, Estrada is one of the most prestigious producers in México having in her credits hits like "Amor Real," "El Privilegio De Amar" and "Lazos De Amor." She has not produced fiction since "Sortilegio" and this series will mark her comeback.
Cast as Joan Sebastian are his two sons, José Manuel Figueroa, who will give life to "El Rey Del Jaripeo" during his adult years. "I will not let you down, nor Carla Estrada, nor the directors or the state of Guerrero," he said during the press event. "I will give the best of me, as I count with the support of all of my colleagues." During Joan's youth, it'll be Julián Figueroa who gives life to his father on the small screen and he said, "He was a man that always looked for a way to convert pain into happiness, that was his gasoline to creativity."
In the role of Maribel Guardia, Livia Brito will be portraying her. Other actors that were at the presentation included Mike Biaggio, Lumi Cavazos and Arcelia Ramirez. "En La Vida De...
